Poke Salad Bar

Poke Salad Bar is mine and my husbands favorite local poke bowl spot. We actually have to convince ourselves not to get it for lunch every day. The value of the bowl, the options, and the flavors are great. I used to live near a Sweetfin and, although also delicious, the bowl is a fraction of the size of the small at Poke Salad Bar and more expensive. The staff is really nice but once in a while when we order delivery or pickup there will be errors in our bowls. Sometimes we will pay for avocado and it's missing or my husband's bowl has the wrong tuna but even with that said we're still repeat customers.

My experience with the Pokeball was great the only thing that was missing was Ginger for my salad I didn't ask for any but I would have assumed that they would give me at least one to two small packages to go. Service West okay did they didn't acknowledge me as soon as I got in but it looked like they were a bit busy my visit was about 15 minutes and I took my food to go. Overall the young lady that was helping me was very kind and attentive.

Ordered the Small Bowl, White Rice, all the initial toppings in Step 2, picked Ahi Tuna and Salmon, all the toppings in Step 4, and Yuzu Ponzu for sauce. Service was great and the presentation of the food as they made it was beautiful. Seafood was great, good portion, all paired well when mixed together. Please note, the small serving is plenty for two if you add all toppings. But if you're really hungry it'll practically carry you over for two meals. Water refreshment is provided too. Really accessible location with street parking readily available. This place gets steady traffic so it did not feel crowded during my visit. And the surrounding neighborhood is great to stroll around later while you digest, a Vons across the street for grocery needs.

I don’t like getting poke anywhere else because Poke Salad Bar has been serving me the tastiest, most bang-for-your-buck Poke in the area. I always get the large, which comes with 4 scoops of protein. I normally finish the whole thing by myself, but if you get your poke loaded up like I do, it’s big enough to be shared with another person. There’s a couple of tables inside and outside. There’s free street parking all around the block.

I got a medium Poké bowl. The most generous services I’ve ever had at a pokey restaurant. Everything super fresh and yummy for $18. Great value!

Absolutely love this place. Fresh fish and ingredients. The poke tastes really good if you know what combo of sauces to get. I love getting the small with ahi tuna and spicy tuna, the medium and large are really big, and I'm a pretty big guy. Make sure to get a lot of dried onions. Very crispy texture to your poke. Service is fantastic. They always give good portions.
